MANILA, Philippines – A Filipino domestic helper in Hong Kong died after saving her ward from a speeding tour bus last week. The remains of Juanita Agustin Limbago arrived from Hong Kong via Philippine Airlines flight PR 301 today at 1:15 p.m. The Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration (OWWA) said the unfortunate incident happened Friday morning last week. The OWWA said that Limbago was bringing her ward, six-year-old boy, to school and both were crossing a road when a tour bus suddenly made a left turn and hit them. “Without regard for her own safety, Juanita turned her back to the bus and used her arm to protect the boy,” OWWA said in a statement. The boy escaped the incident with slight wounds. The tour bus’ driver has been arrested. Limbago’s beneficiaries will receive a death benefit amounting to P200,000 and a burial benefit of P20,000.

Initially, his blog served as an online diary—a personal journal where he shared his experiences, thoughts, and travels. Over time, his blog evolved into a space where he could express his random musings and reflections. This personal blog doesn’t focus on any specific niche, but instead, it’s a collection of his diverse interests and feelings. Edd created the blog purely as a hobby, with no particular intention of aligning it with any particular theme or audience. It remains a platform for him to write about whatever crosses his mind, with a style that is uniquely his own—raw, honest, and unapologetic. Through the years, the blog has served as a creative outlet, allowing Edd to document his personal journey while sharing bits of his life and thoughts with the world.
