I decided to try something new by using Fusilli pasta. Usually i’d use spaghetti (pasta), but this time I wanted to experiment.
The Fusilli pasta held the sauce really well. It gave the dish a unique twist, which was exciting. The result was even better than I expected. Our meal turned out delicious and satisfying. It was a fun change from the usual spaghetti.
I enjoyed how the pasta added a new texture. Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out. This small change made a big difference in the flavor. It was a pleasant surprise that worked out perfectly.
Ingredients
- 500g fusilli pasta
- 500g ground pork
- 1 pcs red bell pepper
- 1 pcs green bell pepper
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
- 4 pcs red hotdogs, sliced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- Salt and Peper to taste
- Parmesan Cheese, grated
How to Cook?
- Cook the fusilli pasta based on package instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook red onion, until translucent.
- Add the garlic until the aroma comes out.
- Add the pork and cook until well browned.
- Add tomato paste, keep stirring and let it cook for about 5 mins.
- Pour tomato sauce and Pineapple juice.
- Add hotdogs then allow the mixture to simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Add a tablespoon of parmesan cheese the ddd the red and green bell pepper.
- Season it with salt and ground pepper to taste. let it simmer for 5 more minutes or until you get the thickness of the sauce that your desire and it’s ready to be served.
