Fettuccine is my go-to pasta whenever I’m craving a pasta dish. I often use mushrooms as a great meat alternative, so I thought, why not combine them? The creamy texture of the mushrooms pairs perfectly with the fettuccine, creating a delicious and satisfying meal that satisfies both my pasta cravings and love for flavorful plant-based options.
Ingredients
- 250g fettuccine noodles
- 250g Purefoods Bacon Crumble
- 284G Jolly Pieces & Stems Mushrooms
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 250ml Nestle All Purpose Cream
- ⅓ cup shaved parmesan cheese or Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to the package’s instructions, drain and set aside.
- Cook bacon in a pan over medium-high heat until almost crispy. Add mushrooms and garlic and cook another 1-2 minutes until mushrooms are tender and garlic is fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and cheese and continue to stir for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Add noodles and stir to coat in sauce.
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Top with additional cheese then ready to serve.
