LAST NIGHT was a film by Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual. Directed by Joyce E. Bernal and written by Bella Padilla.
It’s a story of Mark Peters (Piolo Pascual) and Carmina Salvador (Toni Gonzaga) both planning to end their lives by jumping from Jones Bridge but they both failed. They have then decided to collaborate and think some other ways to end their lives. Together they have learned to understand each others heartbreaks. They become friends and mark started to taste the sweetness of life because of Carmina. As the movie reach the climax then the twist of events happened.
Carmina’s fragile moments is were Toni stands out while Piolo have convincingly portrayed the character of an embittered man.
The heartwarming moment will surely catch you.
This movie showcase the beauty of old Manila—Jones Bridge, The Luneta Hotel, a quaint coffee shop in Escolta, and Intramuros.
The magic of Toni and Piolo tandem is very natural.
Moira dela Torre and Ebe Dancel’s songs will give you a chill into your bones and will give you different feels. The music score is great.
I just feel that the paranormal side of the film is a bit off.
The cast and producer of this film did a bold move to tackle the issue of suicide. Everyone who has going through right now will surely relate to it.
I will rate this movie 4 out of 5.

I have reminded with this movie that suicide is never a solution.
It will never fix mess that you are in right now.

Edd describes himself as an asocial and acerbic individual. He began blogging in 2007 on Blogspot, long before blogging became a widespread trend. Initially, his blog served as an online diary—a personal journal where he shared his experiences, thoughts, and travels. Over time, his blog evolved into a space where he could express his random musings and reflections. This personal blog doesn’t focus on any specific niche, but instead, it’s a collection of his diverse interests and feelings. Edd created the blog purely as a hobby, with no particular intention of aligning it with any particular theme or audience. It remains a platform for him to write about whatever crosses his mind, with a style that is uniquely his own—raw, honest, and unapologetic. Through the years, the blog has served as a creative outlet, allowing Edd to document his personal journey while sharing bits of his life and thoughts with the world.
