I just got home from a short but truly wonderful vacation in San Pascual, Batangas, at Jonel’s place. I’m beyond grateful for God’s guidance and for the amazing time I had with Kuya Ruther, Eljay, and Joel.
We left Malabon a little past seven in the morning. The delay was because Ate Mabel had to convince Joel to come with us. He was hesitant at first, but thanks to Ate Mabel’s persistence, he finally agreed. Looking back, I can’t imagine this trip without him. His presence added so much fun to our vacation.
We took an ALPS bus bound for Batangas. Along the way, hunger struck, so we stopped at a karinderia for breakfast. Honestly, the food wasn’t great—except for the adobo, which was the only dish that stood out. The portions were small, but since we were starving, we ate whatever was available.
When we arrived at Jonel’s house, we rested for a bit after lunch. Then, we headed back to the city for some fun. We decided to go bowling, and even though it was just duckpin bowling, it was incredibly fun. After a few rounds, we got hungry again, so we went to SM Batangas for snacks and to buy ingredients for pancit.
Before heading back to Jonel’s house, we made a quick stop at Pastor Sonny’s place. It was nice catching up and spending time there. Later in the evening, after a delicious dinner, we decided to go night swimming at Villa Ester Resort.
The best part? We had the entire resort to ourselves! There were only five of us, making the experience feel exclusive. The pools were spacious, the atmosphere was peaceful, and we had an absolute blast swimming and goofing around.
I wish I had more time to write in detail, but I’m in a hurry. Still, I just wanted to capture the highlights of this amazing trip. Thank you, Lord, for this wonderful vacation. You are truly great!
