Yamaha is celebrating 50 years and spearheading the 3S (SSS) with Regina Victoria Y. De Ocampo.

Gary A. Yupangco had finally fulfilled a once-sublimated desire and, with it, the musical desires of millions of Filipinos nationwide. Today, after 50 years, G. A. YUPANGCO & CO., INC., through its present complement of 31 stores and 35 music school centers across the Philippines, continues to serve the needs of the Filipino musician and music enthusiast, providing the state of the art in musical instruments and sound reinforcement technology and the finest in music education. Those are the amazing words written in the company website, but what is the new focus now in Yamaha after all those years?
In celebration of its golden year anniversary, the company is spearheading the 3S (SSS, Sustainability, Self-reliant and Service Oriented) mindset to it’s team members. Headed by Regina Victoria Y. De Ocampo, the only daughter of Gary and the grand daughter of the former President of the Philippines, Jose P. Laurel, the management is focusing on its valuable asset, that is their manpower organization which has attributed to its success for 50 years.
According to Regina, “We have team members who are already 40 years in the company and this time, it’s about them, we would like to sustain them with good benefits, to become self reliant and of course to be a service oriented team member. If they are happy, the customers are happy and the company will be happy thus we launched the SSS or 3S.”

Edd describes himself as an asocial and acerbic individual. He began blogging in 2007 on Blogspot, long before blogging became a widespread trend. Initially, his blog served as an online diary—a personal journal where he shared his experiences, thoughts, and travels. Over time, his blog evolved into a space where he could express his random musings and reflections. This personal blog doesn’t focus on any specific niche, but instead, it’s a collection of his diverse interests and feelings. Edd created the blog purely as a hobby, with no particular intention of aligning it with any particular theme or audience. It remains a platform for him to write about whatever crosses his mind, with a style that is uniquely his own—raw, honest, and unapologetic. Through the years, the blog has served as a creative outlet, allowing Edd to document his personal journey while sharing bits of his life and thoughts with the world.
